The Company, which is based in Miami, Florida, is seeking to fulfill its newly created compliance
(officer) professional role with a candidate possessing the following experience:
  • Demonstrated experience with the United States’ regulatory environment and framework.
  • Have participated in and/or led the implementation of corporate compliance programs.
  • Governance/oversight, exposure to client/supplier contracting compliance responsibilities.
  • Maintenance of both the independence and autonomy of the Compliance Officer role.
  • Partnering with Chief Compliance Officer to carry out Compliance Risks Assessments, monitoring and testing, identification and resolution, and root cause analysis.

Funciones

This role will be that of an Independent Consultant to the Company and report directly to the Company’s Worldwide Corporate Compliance Officer and be part of the entire worldwide compliance team. Additionally, this role, along with that of the Company’s Worldwide Corporate Compliance Officer, may report, depending upon the nature of the matter at hand, to the Company’s US Board of Directors.
 
Limited domestic and international travel is expected.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Legal – preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience overall, with at least 3 years in a corporate compliance or regulatory function.
  • Required experience with AML, FCPA, OFAC and/or UK Bribery Act.
  • Experience in broadcast, production or media industry (including the trading of broadcast rights) is preferred.
  •  Professional Certifications (e.g. CRCM, CCEP) is a plus.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • Must provide documentation that permits to work in the United States
