We are seeking for a Publishing Manager to lead our publishing strategy. 




What you will be doing:


·       Lead the development of all our PR, marketing, branding, exhibition and community management efforts in the UK.

·      Create, drive and influence campaign strategies that will hit the mark in culturally-relevant ways for players in the UK.

·      Lead a highly capable team that delivers top-notch publishing and community involvement to players in the UK.

·      Ensure consistent brand messaging and clear communications across media, including advertising and promotional materials.

·      Draw on your understanding of gamers, identifying and proposing new features and messaging that drive their engagement.

·      Conduct market research and build strategic plans for initiating and growing LVP’s presence in the UK.

·      Actively participate in creating new programs that will increase the league’s reach.

·      Track the performance of publishing efforts with a strong understanding of their financial impact on our league.

·      Help your team gain and maintain a data-informed perspective on their work.

·      Provide publishing support to other departments, and actively participate in league meetings to better understand how publishing can best support multiple business objectives.

·      Ensure that marketing assets, web content and community materials are of the highest standard and representative of a player-focused approach.

  • Provide on-site coverage of games & events, when needed. Provide updates on the health of the UK business and highlight areas of opportunity to the UK country manager and the global publishing lead.   


Ideal candidate is:


  • Experienced: you’ve racked up at least 5+ years of experience in publishing video games (marketing, branding, PR) and earned a BA degree in marketing or communication. You know plenty of real-world and digital marketing techniques, which you’ve successfully used in the past to implement large-scale marketing initiatives.
  • A clear communicator: you are able to effectively communicate recommendations to your team, executive management and other internal departments.
  • A publishing guru: you have a broad vision of the gaming industry in the UK and media landscape. You can target the most relevant strategic avenues to bring our publishing initiatives to the right crowd, in the right fashion.
  • A natural leader: you build, lead and inspire teams by example. You are self-aware, can take feedback well and remain open to constructive criticism. You can recognize failure and learn from mistakes.
  • Data oriented: you can translate raw data into meaningful information through reports and estimates that support our publishing strategy.
  • Curious: you keep an attentive eye on the way publishing initiatives are carried out by other innovative gaming companies, whether in the countries you take care of or abroad. Your heart sits within the country you support but your mind is global.
  • Passionate about entertainment and sports industry: you follow the latest buzz in sports and entertainment industry, and you are always on the look for best practices and ideas that can be applied to esports.
